Views on the Commonwealth Championships…

Nadeem Khan (NK): What were your thoughts on running in the Commonwealth Championships?

Victoria Wilkinson (VW): It was a great event, really good to be amongst other athletes from different disciplines. I was quite surprised to see so many competing countries there, I didn’t expect that number to be there, great to see they made the effort.

NK: How was this race different from your other international races?

VW: Usually when we line up, we know most of the field, know their individual strengths and weaknesses, this time many were unknown, and even up until the final 3rd of the race it was hard to tell who would come out the strongest. There was also a very friendly atmosphere both in the town and in Fitz Park.

NK: The one thing that you will remember about these Championships…

VW: Having consecutive days of good weather in Keswick, it makes everyone smile !!
